Here's a new, unused and sealed counted cross-stitch pattern entitled "Butterflies of Gold." Pattern #105 in Nora Corbett's Collection, this pattern was released during 2006.
This design is of stunning Monarch butterflies. Seeing butterflies out in nature is always lovely. Butterflies have such a magical presence and quality as they gently dance on the air from flower to flower. They’re so graceful and beautiful with striking stained glass veins and tawny orange color patterns.
This product includes the pattern only. The materials needed to complete the project as shown are NOT included.
The design area of this pattern is approximately 9.4" x 7.6" (23.9 x 19.3 cm) when stitched 2 over 2 on 28 count Water Lily Jobelan (429-203) by Wichelt Imports. Alternate fabric is 32 count Water Lilly Linen (65-203) by Wichelt Imports. The stitch count (on 28 count fabric) is 196w x 133h. Top butterfly is 3.9" x 7" (9.9 x 17.8 cm) with a stitch count (on 28 count fabric) of 55h x 98w. Bottom butterfly is 4.4" x 7.6" (11.2 x 19.3 cm) with a stitch count (on 28 count fabric) of 61h x 106w.
Required materials to complete this project are as follows: DMC floss: 3371. DMC floss to attach beads: 746, 823 & 926. DMC Color Variations: 4130 & 4210. Beads by Mill Hill: 03002, 03037 (2 pkgs), 16603 & 16609. Kreinik Metallic Thread (Very Fine # 4 Braid): 001J, 152v & 3214.
