This is a new, unused and sealed counted cross-stitch pattern entitled "The Empress." Pattern #198 in Nora Corbett's Mirabilia Collection, this pattern was released on February 15, 2025.
The pattern is described as: "The Empress - The Empress dreamt one night that she was a shimmering mermaid. She could become that with my new collection of patterns that are interchangeable at the neckline and waistline. She is first in a series that are interchangeable. So the mermaid could have fairy wings and have a crown if you so please. Of course they would be lovely as they are in a series. so gather your floss and fabric and start dreaming!" - Nora
This product includes the pattern only. The materials needed to complete the project as shown are NOT included.
The design area of this pattern is 8.75" x 13.13" (22.23 x 33.35 cm) when stitched 2 over 2 on 32 count Dark Chestnut Linen (65-542) by Wichelt Imports. 32 count Milk Chocolate Linen (65-95) can also be used. Alternative fabric is 16 count Milk Chocolate Aida (355-95) by Wichelt Imports. The stitch count is 140w x 210h.
Required materials to complete this project are as follows: DMC floss: 09, 35, 154, 434, 600, 729, 745, 746, 816, 898, 3031, 3371, 3706, 3801, 3834, 3835 (2) and 3836. Beads by Mill Hill: 00165, 02035, 02099, 03036, 03041, 03050, 16606, 16609 and 18123. Caron Waterlilies: CWL045, CWL117, CWL186 and 210. Kreinik #4 Braids: VF 221 (B42) and VF 026V (B368).
