This is a new, unused and sealed counted cross-stitch pattern entitled "Mermaid Perfume." Pattern #173 in Nora Corbett's Mirabilia Collection, this pattern was released on December 15, 2020.
The pattern is described as: "Even deadlier than her voice is the enticing perfume she creates. So strong it lures the sailors to the edge of the decks. It only takes seconds for them to become stunned–long enough for her to reach from the swirling foam and grasp an arm or a leg. Down she goes, fleeing while giggling only to find that her sweet lovers can’t survive in her depths. The pearly shells and coral caves silently witness her grieving until the next ship comes by and she tries again."
This product includes the pattern only. The materials needed to complete the project as shown are NOT included.
The design area of this pattern is 10 1/16" x 18 3/8" (25.55 x 46.69 cm) when stitched 2 over 2 on 32 count Water Lily Linen (65-203) by Wichelt Imports. Alternate fabric is 16 count Water Lily Aida (355-203) by Wichelt Imports. The stitch count is 161w x 294h.
Required materials to complete this project are as follows: DMC floss: 04, 05, 07, 25, 26, 29, 31, 310(2), 340, 500(3), 535, 938, 948, 958(2), 991(2), 993(2), 3770 and BLANC (white.)
