This is a new, unused and sealed counted cross-stitch pattern entitled "Echo Lake." Pattern #174 in Nora Corbett's Mirabilia Collection, this pattern was released on February 15, 2021.
The pattern is described as: "One summer night I heard voices from the lake mimicking and teasing me. I was at Echo Lake in The Indian Head Wilderness in the Catskills Mountains. Once in a while I heard a small splash and saw blue moonlight reflecting on ripples. The mermaid muses would call back to me, and later they would sing to each other. There are many mermaid tales from the Native Americans. One of sisters that went in the water and could never leave. They are still there if you listen during a full moon."

The design area of this pattern is 16 13/16" x 14 13/16" (42.82 x 37.74 cm) when stitched 2 over 2 on 32 count Graceful Gray Linen (65-320) by Wichelt Imports. Alternate fabric is 16 count Graceful Gray Aida (355-320) by Wichelt Imports. The stitch count is 234w x 206h.
Required materials to complete this project are as follows: DMC floss: 13, 15 (2), 26, 29, 31 (2), 310 (3), 340, 500 (2), 501 (2), 502 (2), 598 (2), 703, 747 (3), 828, 964, 3031, 3849 (2), and BLANC (white.)
