This is a new counted crosstitch pattern by Mirabilia Designs and Nora Corbett entitled "Queen of Freedom." Pattern #64 in Nora Corbett's Mirabilia Collection, this pattern was originally printed in 2002. This design is a special 2026 release to both honor the 25th anniversary of 9/11 and to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.
The pattern is described as: "Due to the overwhelming response to "Lady of the Flag", we have created another pattern that honors our Flag to complete the set. A classic Greek beauty drapes the Stars and Stripes over her lap while she clutches a book of law. She promises peace, justice, and beauty for all."
PLEASE NOTE: This product only includes the pattern and a special 2026 charm. The other materials needed to complete the project as shown are NOT included.
The design area of this pattern is approximately 11.31" x 18.06" (28.73 x 45.87 cm) when stitched 2 over 2 on 32 count Country French Latte Linen (85-251) by Wichelt Imports. Alternate fabric is 16 count Country French Latte Linen Aida (385-251.) The stitch count is 181 x 289.
The following materials are needed to complete the design: DMC floss: 169, 335, 356, 370, 415, 451 (2), 452 (2), 453 (2), 535, 754, 758, 761, 814, 816 (2), 819, 829, 831, 832, 833, 839, 869, 930 (2), 931, 932, 939, 948, 3031, 3046, 3753, 3799, 3859, 3862 and BLANC / white (5). Glass beads and treasures by Mill Hill: 02011 (2), 02022, 13051 (3) and 13089 (2). 2026 Charm (included with the chart.) Kreinik Metallic #4 Very Fine Braid thread: 002J (2) and of 102C.
