Here's a new, unopened and factory sealed counted crosstitch pattern by Lavender & Lace and Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum entitled "Michael." This design is L&L 65 of Lavender & Lace by Told in a Garden, this pattern was released in 2010.
The pattern is described as: "For years stitchers have asked, begged, and pleaded for a male angel to go with all of the female angels. I have tried and the faces would not look good enough. They looked fierce or too flamboyant or too much like warriors carrying swords or battle armaments. None were gentle yet strong. I wanted a protector of children .... a kind angel of strength ... a leader within the stars. I think I finally got it right! I hope he fulfills your dreams of what a male angel looks like."

Details on this project: Chart is a fold-out pattern with black and white symbols and a color picture of the completed design. Model is stitched on 32 count Belfast linen Miracle Mint (#3609/615/55) from Zweigart. The stitched area is 8 3/4" x 8 3/4" (22.2 x 22.2 cm) when stitched 2 over 2 on 32 count fabric with a stitch count of 140 x 140.
DMC floss needed to complete this design: 300, 433, 434, 780, 801, 930, 931, 932, 938, 945, 3023, 3072, 3371, 3750, 3752, 3753, ecru (3 skeins) and white. Mill Hill Beads: 42041 dark denim and 00275 coral. Mill Hill Treasure: 13047 large heart crystal aurora borealis. Specialty items from Rainbow Gallery: PB28 Petite Treasure Braid powder pink, PB37 Petite Treasure Braid dark antique gold, PH04 Petite Treasure Braid High-Gloss bright gold, SC1 Splendor Designer Collection bronze porcelain (SC1 includes Splendor S974, S1083, S1084, S1085, S1098, S1131).
