Here is a new and unopened complete NEEDLEPOINT kit entitled "Blue Ikat." This design features the fabulous look of Ikat weaving. It is a repetitive pattern of weaved spade shaped objects. Each object in the pattern has a unique design and they all have a white / blue border. This style started with ancient Mayans, and over the centuries it has been adopted by several Far and Middle Eastern cultures. It still popular in South and Central America, India, Indonesia, Japan and many other countries. Perfect for any lover of the artistic Ikat style! Please note that this design can be finished as a picture or a pillow, but the materials to make a pillow are not included.
Included in the package: full color 12 count interlock mesh canvas (printed in full color,) acrylic yarns, tapestry needle and easy to follow instructions that include a color chart ~ Everything you need to complete this Needlepoint project as a picture! Pillow finishing materials are NOT included. To complete this as a pillow you'll need backing fabric and poly-fil / stuffing.
