This lovely design features the timeless sentiment "Welcome to our Home" and a simple, but elegant, pineapple on an old-fashioned chalkboard. The pineapple is a well know symbol of warmth and hospitality that gained popularity during America's colonial period. Shops, inns and restaurants would display pineapple symbols by their doorways to let the public know that they were invited. Around the pineapple you stitch "Welcome to our Home" in large, white letters, bordered with flowing filigrees. You add to the vibrance of this design using the included glass beads. This is a perfect design to welcome guests into your own home or to give as a thoughtful, handmade housewarming gift!
