This is a new and unopened complete COUNTED crosstitch kit of a Christmas Stocking entitled "Santa's Arrival Stocking." It is a very cute design of Jolly Old Saint Nick in his traditional suit of red with white furry trim, black boots and belt, and a large sack filled with toys slung over his shoulder. He holds a finger to his lips in a gesture of silence to his accompanying friends: a deer, bunny rabbits, raccoons, and three cardinal birds. Santa approaches a secluded house in the middle of the snow covered evergreen trees and below a navy blue starry night with a full yellow moon. You even add the lucky recipient's name in blue letters at the top surrounded by a border of red lines and blue snowflakes for a great personalized holiday gift and keepsake!
Included in the package: white 14 count Aida x-stitch fabric, 100% cotton embroidery floss, wool yarn, white felt for stocking back, needle and complete and easy instructions including an alphabet chart for personalization ~ Everything you need to complete this CrossStitch project!

Santa's Arrival Stocking
Once completed this stocking is very pretty. The different variations of thread amount per stitch etc. added nice textured detail. However, Dimensions did not provide enough thread of various colours......especially the sky colors which took away from the enjoyment of stitching. I would strongly recommend "color matching" with DMC or Anchor before beginning this project. That said, it is a very nice looking stocking when completed.
