This news release is from December 3, 2025 and applies to all Mill Hill kits that utilize perforated paper.

Wichelt Imports is excited to introduce Mill Hill Perforated PVC!

Mill Hill Perforated PVC is the result of over a year's work to develop a new article to replace the standard perforated paper used in our Mill Hill kits. We wanted to create a product that:

• feels & looks just like our high quality perforated paper.
• can be produced in our full range of colors.
• is more durable than paper, but with a similar cost

Mill Hill Perforated PVC:

• resists snagging, allowing threads to flow through the perforations smoothly.
• resists tears, yet cuts just as easily and smoothly as paper

Mill Hill Perforated PVC is made in the USA from durable vinyl.As the supply of perforated paper is depleted and the new product arrives, items will be up­graded to Mill Hill Perforated PVC. This includes all Mill Hill kits, licensed lines and 9" x 12" packaged sheets.

Item numbers will remain the same.

Don't worry, it's still us - Caryn & Richard. We moved to a new provider in order to deliver a better experience to all of the people that have been kind enough to shop with us. We loved the old site, but it was ... well, just OLD. As you browse around you'll notice that we worked hard to keep the feel of the old site with us. This new platform is loaded with features that the old site couldn't support. I'd like to point out a few of them:

User Accounts: You'll now be able to create your own account with us. Once signed in you'll have access to past orders and tracking information. Other account features include wish lists, a history of recent items viewed, and an address book.

Better Shopping: Use our "Quick View" feature to get a peek at an item. Click on any item to go to the detail page. All item pages still have the same detailed description. We've upgraded the item image features to include zoom, larger views and some items will have multiple images (close ups, pack views, etc...) We've also added more categories to narrow down results.

Easy Checkout: Checkout with your account or as a guest. Either way it's a smooth process that takes minimal time and effort.

More ways to Connect: Our blog will be used to share news, new items and anything else that's relevant. We will also be launching a periodic newsletter with similar information as well as promotions and coupons.

Please feel free to take your time shopping our store. We are always open to ideas, comments, suggestions or anything else on your mind.
