This a new and unopened complete COUNTED CROSS STITCH & FELT EMBROIDERY / Appliquè kit entitled "Christmas Pageant Advent Calendar." Your family will love counting down the arrival of Christmas with this beautiful Mary Engelbreit calendar. The center piece of this kit is done in counted cross stitch. It features several children that are on stage and reenacting the renowned scene of when the three kings came to visit baby Jesus. Two of the kids are playing the part of Mary and Joseph. Mary holds an adorable baby (Jesus) in her arms. Other children are dressed as the townspeople that bestowed gifts to Jesus – including an adorable girl with a lamb pull toy. Behind them is a play barn with a banner on top of it. On the banner you stitch the phrase "The Christmas Pageant." Above that are five large gold stars that are hanging from above. The calendar part of the kit is felt embroidery / applique. It features the 24 numbered days before Christmas and a special 25th spot for the big day. Each number is stitched on a gold star which is attached to a pocket that can hold little candies or small treats. The entire design is generously decorated with sequins and beads, which add shine, sparkle and dimension. What a great way to countdown to Christmas day!! This unique advent calendar would certainly make a great Christmas gift or a perfect addition to your own holiday decor!!!
Included in the package: 14 count white Aida x-stitch fabric, stamped felt, white Pellon, thread palette and floss separator with presorted 100% cotton DMC embroidery floss, sequins and beads, 2 needles and complete and easy instructions ~ Everything you need to complete this awesome project! Please Note: dowels and finials are NOT included.
